History
The Centre Suisse d’Essais des Composants Electroniques (CSEE) [Swiss centre for testing electronic components] came into being in 1979 within the framework of a drive program of the Swiss Confederation and the Neuchâtel Development Agency. It was attached to the then Association Suisse des Electriciens (now Electrosuisse). In 1992, Mr. Peter Annaheim founded
CSEE SA, the result of a management buy-out of the centre. Over the years, CSEE SA extended its main activity of testing application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) by taking management responsibility for supplying these products to its clients.
In 2006, CSEE SA was acquired by the group PQH Holding SA, located in Fribourg, which, two years later, took possession of its new industrial premises in Boudry under a new name, Aptasic SA. With it, the company marked a major step in its evolution and affirmed its will to establish itself more prominently in the world of ASICs.
